Hello

My name is Ellery O'Darrah. I grew up in many parts of California, and have lived in Seattle and Denver as an adult. I'm a creative problem solver with a wide variety of experience and know-how. I'm always excited to take on new challenges, be they simple or complex!

My Story

I started doing maintenance as a young kid, because I loved cleaning the dryer lint out of the massive machines at our apartment complex. I have always been fascinated by how things work and how to fix things that aren't, learning early from my grandmother, who always did everything herself, and my dad, who ran a landscaping business. Most four year olds aren't learning trade skills, and most eight year olds aren't professionally pruning roses. I consider myself very lucky!

I have degrees in Carpentry and Fiber Arts. I have worked in landscaping, apartment maintenance, and property management, as well as in the arts and hobby communities, both selling materials and teaching. I have experience with aging-in-place adaptations, green building, and CAD design. I even build and repair furniture!

I love fixing things, and I love helping people!
